What You’ll Need:
1 lb. 90% lean grass fed beef
1 tbsp. 57 steak sauce
2-3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. onion powder
S&P to taste
1 large tomato, sliced
4 Bibb or Romaine Lettuce leaves
4 thick slices f Jarelesberg cheese
4 pretzel buns
4 tbsp. Dijon Mustard, optional
2 large onions, thinly sliced (I use a mandolin slicer)
Pinch baking soda
1-2 tsp olive oil
Optional: Use ground turkey
How To Do It:
Gather all ingredients.
Heat your BBQ grill. Turn flame to medium.
Heat sauté pan on med-low for a few minutes then add the oil.
Add the onions and sprinkle with dash of baking soda. Mix to combine.
Cook for 10 minutes until golden brown. Set aside
In a large bowl combine beef, 57 sauce, Worcestershire, onion powder, S&P.
Divide mixture into 4 even sized patties.
Put a thumb print in the middle of each burger for even cooking.
Cook 5 minutes on one side then turn.
Add the cheese and cook until melted.
Place the buns on the grill to toast.
Slather Dijon on the bun followed by a squirt of ketchup.
Add lettuce, tomato, and burger. Top with caramelized onions. Enjoy!
